Introduction :
New !: Rebondball Registered model and trademark
A new sport derived from basketball, played in a walled space, 2 v.2 or 3 v.3 convertible into a multigame space Badminton, volleyball, tennis, ball game etc. |
Technical aspects :
- A secured surrounding wall, 10.35 m x 5.75 m (approx. 34 ft X 19 ft), 3.50 m (11.5 ft) high, entirely closed by plain or transparent partitions, with a net above. Keep in mind that a large transparent vertical surface is needed for referee.
- 1 basket at each end (2.83 m – 9.3ft- above the floor), 40 cm (17.7 in.) in diameter
- Floor surface made of either wood or PVC.
- The ground is marked off to show 2 areas (rackets) of trapezoidal shape and measuring :
- 2.75 m (approx. 9 ft) for the longer base, 1.75 m ( approx. 5.75 ft) for the shorter base, 2.75 m (9 ft) in length
- A distance of 1 m (3 ft) along the width, at each end, and marked off by yellow lines, 5 cm (2 in.) wide

The rules of RebondBall :
RebondBall is to be played with 4 players (2 v.2) or 6 players (3 v.3), with one substitute.
Each game consists of 3 sets, 10 minute long, with two 3 minute pauses.
The game is won by the team with the better score at the end of the game.
The teams start the sets under the baskets, in turns, except for the last set when the team lagging behind has the privilege to start. A sustitute may enter or leave the game at any time when the game restarts.
All the partitions arte taken into account for the game ; there is no off-side ; the player must aim at the basket when he is outside the zone ; the game restarts from under the basket once a point has been scored ; physical contact or leaning on the partitions are not allowed
