What is football for 2 ?Football for two is a sport that mixes football, billiards and squash. Fun, and available from the age of 6 on, football for two is played with 2 players v. 2 within a walled space measuring 10 m by 5m(30ft x 15ft).
The surface for the game is made of synthetic grass and the partitions can be plain or transparent. The aim of the game is to send the ball into the opponents’ goal cage, using the partitions. |

Football for 2 is played using a ball 14cm in diameter, covered with felt, with a pressure of 160 gr and weighing approximately 250gr.
Each time consists of striker and a defender who switch parts for each new set.
A game is over when one of the teams has won 3 of the 5 sets originally planned, each set being won after scoring 7 goals, except for the 5th set which must have a difference of 2 goals. All the partitions may be used as partners. Frequent use of the rebound of the ball (to kick, dribble, score or get free) allows for numerous combinations and makes the game fun as well as spectacular. Contact with an opponent is not allowed. Players are forbidden to get into the opponent’s defending area. The team that has scored kicks off.
Fair play and respect are integral parts of the game.
Football for 2 is a fully recognized sport, an affiliated member of the Sport Federation for Football for 2 (a federation which is itself an affiliated member of the French Football Federation).
FSFA2 is officially in charge of organising national and regional competitions in France. This expansion in sport results in close cooperation with the Department for Diversified football, and in the affiliation of FSFA2 clubs with the Football Leagues and Districts.
